Hot In The City


Well, it's October 1st and San Francisco is swelteringly hot! This Indian summer every local talks about is finally in full force and right when I'm ready for pumpkins, cozy sweaters and hot tea. I've also rediscovered my love and borderline unhealthy relationship with Etsy. So many beautiful things and and I always get a warm fuzzy feeling by helping out a small business.

Here are some of my new favorite Etsy shops:

(Macrame Market) -Those gorgeous macramé plant hangers you've seen in my kitchen
(Lisabretrostyle) -Vintage and found goodies
(Peeko Apparel) -Beautiful custom made clothing out of San Francisco 
(Galisfly) -Amazing jewelry
(Perrodin Supply) -A husband and wife run handcrafted home goods company

Understand, that it took a lot of willpower on my part to share my secret favorite shops with you but I love them all (and you!) too much to keep them a secret. Do you have an Etsy shop, which one is your favorite?

  5. First off, I love your necklace! That last shot out your window...there's just something so beautifully peaceful about it. I honestly look at this picture and wish I was there. Hot weather and all. (I lived in Vegas for four years and that was my favorite weather ever.)
    Haha I'm the same way! It takes a long time before I share my favorite secret stores and shops. I was the same with ModCloth a long time ago before many people had even heard of it. All my friends were always asking where I was getting all my clothes and I'd just smile and be like, "if I tell ya, I have to kill ya" :)
    I have a few favorite Etsy shops, but the one that I know the name of at the top of my head is Crush Vintage. They have so many beautiful vintage dresses!!! And they update their store pretty frequently.
