A Few Of My Favorite Things

I just wanted to share a few recent discoveries from this year that I have become obsessed with. I've had a love-hate relationship with makeup all of my life. I've had a lot of trial and error and now that I'm older and can afford better products (and have began to understand quality) my beauty routine has gotten a lot more fun!

Naked2 by Urban Decay- I actually use every color in this palette because they're all beautiful neutrals, they go on smooth, stay put all day, and give you such a professional look.
Chloe Rollerball- This scent makes me feel like a grown woman! When I put it on I instantly feel glamorous.
Diorshow Mascara- This is the best mascara I've ever used. However, I like full thick 60's eyelashes so what I love most is how you can layer it on. I've retired my false lashes because of this mascara.
Tweezerman Tweezers- I'm Latina, I have to pluck my eyebrows at least once a week, these are the best, enough said.
R&B by Lush- Smells amazing, cruelty free, easy on the environment and makes my hair so soft. Perfect for dry ends!
Thickening Hairspray by Bumble and Bumble- I have very fine, pin-straight hair that can't hold a curl. This product has changed my life and the way I feel about my hair. It does so much more than just make my hair look thick and full of volume, it keeps it perfect during the winds of San Francisco and I feel like my hair is actually healthier from using it.
Coralista Blush by Benefit- The perfect coral blush, I feel like this color flatters almost all skin tones. I thought I would use this blush for bold looks but it's become part of my everyday makeup routine.

Have you used any of these? I would love to know your tried and true or favorite products!

  1. The Naked 2 palette! I purchased it semi-recently and I thought I wouldn't like it, but I love it and use it almost every day!

The Coralista blush looks interesting. I like that it has cute packaging, too.

    1. I was really hesitant to purchase it at first, I normally stay away from palettes because I'm SO particular and just find them to be a waste but I got so much use out of this one and it's almost out, I want to try the original Naked palette next!

  2. Diorshow Mascara is the best mascara I have ever used too! It is well worth the money.

I am probably the only person on this planet that has yet to try the Naked palettes, I need to immediately!

    1. I have yet to find an "affordable" or cheap mascara that impresses me, that's kind of a bummer! But at least Diorshow is amazing. Although, is it just me or does it not last as long as other mascara? I feel like I use it up quickly but maybe I just use a lot haha.

    1. Ugh, I hate the investment and fear of trying new things, I do not get lucky when it comes to discovering products and I don't like wasting money and starting all over again. The worst.
