Our Little Thanksgiving

Ian and I just had a little mellow Thanksgiving lunch together yesterday. I actually cooked for once and it was a lot of fun! We just had mini Turkey (Tofurky for me!) sandwiches, lemon and black pepper asparagus, roasted potatoes, rolls, apple pie and pumpkin cookies. Later we went to Berkeley for dinner with my cousin and her boyfriend (duck for the meat eaters and the best kale salad ever for me) it was nice to see a tiny bit of family. How was your Thanksgiving, did you cook?!

  1. This is so cute, Charley! I'm glad that you had a good Thanksgiving :) Honestly, mine was pretty awful (My boyfriend was out of town and I ordered Chinese food, which never showed up). But I did get to watch hours of Parks & Rec while drinking sparkling wine, so it wasn't all bad ;)

    1. Aww! I've definitely had the chinese food, lonely holiday before. Parks and Rec will make anything better!

  2. That's so cute! I like that a lot of that food can be eaten lukewarm or cold - something I should keep in mind for meals. Everything is so simple but decorative.

    1. That helped so much! I have no idea how people serve so many warm dishes at once, great timing and planning I guess.
