Pine Cones and Polka Dots Giftwrap Idea

I'm really into white, gold, and brown for christmas (among a lot of other color schemes I'll be sharing through the month). Pine cones are so rustic and classic, I love the idea of mixing them with the modern and glamours look of a gold polka dot. I used stickers and plain white and craft paper instead of polkadot wrapping paper because it was cheaper and more versatile. I wanted to be able to change the look of each gift, make some spaced apart or overlapping, you can even cut them in half and make a scalloped boarder! I'm up to my waist in wrapping supplies so I'll be sharing a lot more as I go.

Have you started wrapping gifts yet? I'd love to see, link me.

  1. I'm not exactly the best gift wrapper in the world but I love this idea of pinecones! I will have to try this for my (attempt) at wrapping gifts!

  3. This looks great! I'm heinous at gift wrapping (side effect of laziness) but I feel like I might be able to hang with this...

    1. Honestly, (as a fellow lazy girl) the stickers help hide the imperfections!

    1. Not a pro! Just genuinely enjoy it, a lot more than shopping for gifts!

  7. Looks great! :) Love the colours, too. Mostly I use craftpaper in combination with colourful scrap/origami paper and things I wrap out of magazines. I am planning to share my gift wrapping on my blog in a couple of days. x
