With celebrations come temptation, and even though I'm on a diet I had to have celebratory drinks with the newly engaged couple and we went out to eat a few times. I tried to make healthy choices but you have to live a little. A big, important part of my fitness plan is making sure I can sustain it for life. It's not a crash diet, or a cleanse, it's simply a healthy lifestyle, so having a glass of wine and a sandwich at the park has to be able to fit in. If I allow myself occasional pleasures I will be more likely to stick with it, if I put myself on a really strict plan, once I take a bite of something "bad" I end up throwing the diet out the window and feel like I failed.
