Print Mixing With Rachel Emma

Hello! I'm Rachel Emma of Daydream Frenzy and I'm so excited to be guest-posting here on The Charley Girl! For my post, I wanted to share with y'all one of my favorite ways of styling: print mixing! Mixing prints can make any outfit stand out; the variety of colors and textures is guaranteed to catch people's eyes!

When it comes to print mixing, it's important to keep an open mind. Never assume two prints can never work together, you might surprise yourself by taking a risk! A couple helpful tips for beginners are to leave your accessories the same color (such as my belt, necklace, and shoes) and to implement a color that is already in the other print (like the purple gingham shirt matched with the purple streak in the skirt). If you're feeling extra brave, try adding a third print! I hope this was helpful, and feel free to stop by my blog and say hi! :)

  1. Interesting! I don't really mix prints a lot but I've been dying to try it out more- I should go for it. :) Thanks for the tips.

  2. I've done floral and leopard mixing outfit the other day. It sure takes guts to try something that aren't "suppose" to go together but when I wore it, it's like, "oh this isn't bad!" haha Nice mix!
